This notice is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the "GDPR") and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.

2.1 Contact / quote request form

Through the Website's contact form, we request the following data: name, company name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), a project description, the design baselines you have available, and — if provided — links to drawings.

  • Purpose: responding to your inquiry, providing a quote or consultation.
  • Legal basis: your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a), given by ticking the checkbox when you submit the form.
  • Recipients of the data: form submissions arrive to us by email (via Google Workspace), and — if you provided an email address — you also receive an automatic confirmation.
  • Retention period: a maximum of 2 years after the inquiry is closed, or until consent is withdrawn.
  • Withdrawing consent: at any time, without justification, by emailing hello@bimline.hu.

2.2 Cookies and website analytics

The Website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device while you visit. Some are essential for the Website to function; others — only with your consent — serve statistical purposes.

The first time you visit the Website, a cookie settings banner appears, where you can decide, category by category, which cookies to allow. Cookies outside the "Necessary" category (currently: Statistics) only activate after you accept them — before that, no non-essential cookie is placed on your device.

3. Google Analytics — in more detail

If you consent to statistics cookies, the Website uses Google Analytics 4, operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), and data may also be processed by Google LLC (United States). The legal basis for the transfer to the US is the adequacy framework adopted by the European Commission (the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework), as well as the Standard Contractual Clauses included in Google's general terms of service. You can read more about Google's data processing in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

The measurement ID (property) used only starts actually sending data once you give the consent described above; until then, the tracking script doesn't even load in your browser.

4. Data transfers

The Data Controller processes personal data primarily itself, and with the assistance of the data processors named above (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC; and, for the contact form, the Google Workspace email service). Beyond this, we do not share your data with third parties, except where required by law.

5. Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding the personal data we process about you:

  • Right of access — you can ask for information about what data of yours we process.
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — you can ask us to delete your data if it's no longer needed, or if you withdraw your consent.
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to object to processing.
  • Right to data portability — you can ask to receive the data you provided in a structured, commonly used format, or have it transmitted to another controller.
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at hello@bimline.hu.

6. Remedies

If you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR or Hungarian data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

  • Address: 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11., Hungary
  • Postal address: 1363 Budapest, Pf. 9., Hungary
  • Phone: +36 (1) 391-1400
  • Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu
  • Website: www.naih.hu

You may also bring a claim before a court; such proceedings fall within the jurisdiction of the regional courts (törvényszék), and — at your choice — may be brought before the court with jurisdiction over your place of residence or habitual stay.

7. Changes to this notice

We reserve the right to amend this notice, particularly in the event of legal changes or changes to our data-processing practices on the Website. The current version is always available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
